Mehwish Afzal, the creative brain behind MC, is a BBA graduate ofAmericanUniversityinDubai, specialized in Marketing and Advertising and holds a degree in fashion designing from Centre for Executive Education (CEE), EDEXCEL LONDON; she has lived inDubaisince the age of three. Originally fromPakistan, Mehwish has experiencedDubaigrow from a desert to a cosmopolitan city. She has been in this industry from quite few years now. MC has been a part of many shows/exhibitions in Dubai; Dubai Bride Show 2007, Abu Dhabi Bride Show 2008, Runaway Art Show 2007, Burjuman Creations Show 2008, Style 2010 Fujairah Fashion Show, Dubai Fashion Fiesta 2010, Miss Velvet Fashion Shows 2010-2011 (which is held under the patronage of Sheikha Hend Al Qassemi); are just to name a few.

In May 2010, she went into a joint venture withAijaz Aslam,Pakistan’s famous celebrity and designer, for their collection which was showcased for the very first time inFujairahfor Style 2010 Fujairah Fashion Show under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Sara Bint Hamad Al Sharki, which was held at the Fujairah Tennis and Country Club.

Recently, she showcased her latest Eid Collection “A la Mode” at Fashion Club Party (August 2011) which was held in Sanctuary, Atlantis, for which she received rave reviews post the show; and exhibited the collection at Women Lifestyle Fashion Event (September 2011) at Al Tawuun Mall.

An individual with diverse interests, she has been actively involved in charity work and other activities also.
